        REFRESHMENT - JULY 5TH & 6TH 2007

 

 

 

    "COME AWAY AND REST WITH ME AWHILE...."

 

 

July 5th

 

14.00  Depart schools

 

16.00  Arrive King's Head Masham - registration

 

16.30  Gather in restaurant for tea/coffee, welcome and 

          introduction to our time together/resource pack.

 

17.15  Depart Masham for a scenic drive to 'Druid's Temple'

          for a short, gentle walk and an evening liturgy in a

          forest clearing overlooking the moors.

 

18.40  Return to King's Head - time for self.

 

19.30  Bar and Dinner

 

July 6th

 

 

          Breakfast at a time to suit (07.30-09.00)

 

09.00  Depart King's Head by minbus

 

09.50  Arrive Osmotherley for Morning Prayer in the

          Monastery of Our Lady of Mount Grace followed by

          a walk onto the North York Moors to the 15th

          Century Lady Chapel. (Tea and coffee available,

          there'll be time for personal space and we'll end our

          visit in prayer with Fr Damian.)

 

12.15  Depart Osmotherley

 

13.00  Lunch at the King's Head

 

14.00  Departure, or maybe a chance to buy some sausages

          and Black Sheep Beer for the weekend!
